It is what makes the world go round. You may not have all that you require for life currently but extending an arm to help someone doesn't stop you from being rich either.
Life does not come from dead things, hence the need to know that the good we do today germinates into a better seed tomorrow. You may not have all that it takes to save a country but sponsoring one or two persons in school is one of the good ways to start.
After everything, in life, what matters is what we did when others do not know what they should do. At times, we are in situations we cannot explain, at some other times, we find ourselves explaining things that are not part of us. It is not as though we are busy bodies in other people's matter. It is just that, we can rend a helping hand when others fail.
You may not be as rich as you want now but there is somebody down where you had been. It wasn't easy. I know, just help somebody to climb up the ladder.
Today is the day to rend a helping hand. Tomorrow might be too late. There is no need helping somebody when he or she is dead. All we can do is pray. Now that we have the opportunity of seeing them alive, it is good to say, "you matter." Through what we say, do or think towards them.
The Earth is large enough to accommodate everyone one. Always show compassion. But if you can't, don't hurt them at least.
